Charter Morris is the Director of International Student & Scholar Services at The University of Alabama, where he has served since 2012. Charter began his career in international education in 2001 and has previously worked at The University of Mississippi, American University of Central Asia, and Syracuse University. Charter has been active both at the national and regional levels in NAFSA since 2001, serving on the Regional Affairs Committee Chair Stream 2022-2023, as NAFSA Region VII Chair in 2019, as the KCISSS Liaison for NAFSA Region VII 2015-17, as the Mississippi Rep 2007-08, and on NAFSA Trainer Corps since 2014.
