Assistant Professor Bryan Shuler, a Fellow of The Explorer’s Club and Royal Geographical Society, teaches Humanities and Cultural Studies, is the Curator for the Anthony L. Griffon Research Library at Hillsborough Community College, Tampa, FL, and Community College/MSI Education Advisor for ACOR, Amman, Jordan. He is a West Africanist, Cultural Anthropologist, Ethnomusicologist, Cartobibliographer, and Pre-Columbian Mesoamericanist. A Cultural Expert- Anthropologist for Lindblad- National Geographic's African expeditions, Shuler is a Fulbright Scholar, a Fulbright Fellow, a CAORC-ACOR, ARISC, and CAORC-AIIS Fellow, Composer in Residence for the Ghana National Dance Company, Guest Artist with Tokyo Star Dancer Ballet, and accompanist for NYCB.
