Session
Education Abroad (EA)
As study abroad participation increases in short-term experiences (65% per Open Doors' most recent data), how do administrators and faculty devise strategies for student cultural competency development before, during, and after these programs? Our diverse panel will explore best practices and plug-and-play models to integrate cultural competency into pre-departure coursework, orientations, on-ground activities, and post-program reflection to maximize students’ intercultural competencies.Â
