Andrea Pietrzyk is the Associate Director of the International Student & Scholar Services office at Vanderbilt University. She has been working in international education for over a decade. Her interest in the field began when she tutored ESL students as an undergraduate. This sparked a passion that also led her to study abroad in France and teach abroad in Lebanon and Palestine. These experiences have driven her to give students and scholars in the U.S. with same care and compassion that others provided her when she was abroad. Andrea is an alumna of the NAFSA Academy (Class 14).
