Creating and Sustaining Buy-In for Your Global Learning Program

Presentation Description:

Join us for an interactive discussion on engaging campus stakeholders in creating and sustaining support for global learning programs. With nearly 200,000 students having completed global learning courses and programs at FIU, our university-wide initiative relies on continuous support by faculty, students, administrators and partners. Three campus representatives will share their strategies for responding to a changing campus environment, adapting to program evaluation and assessment results, and maintaining continuous communication and dialogue with stakeholders.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will understand the fundamentals of global learning curricular and co-curricular programming for any institution.
  • Participants will gain insights into needs and expectations of key global learning stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, institutional leadership, and partners.
  • Participants will learn strategies for creating and maintaining buy-in for global learning programs at their institutions.
