Presentation Description:

As more and more students consider community colleges as their first step in their college career, this creates a unique opportunity to strengthen collaboration between recruitment agencies, community colleges, and universities. This session addresses the challenges and opportunities in supporting students throughout their entire educational journey, emphasizing successful initiatives and collaborative efforts.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • During my presentation, attendees will be able to explore the current landscape of community college to university transfers, including common challenges and barriers faced by students.
  • During my presentation, attendees will be able to discuss effective strategies and initiatives that recruitment agencies, community colleges, and universities can implement to support students throughout the transfer process
  • After my presentation, attendees will be able to articulate the importance of collaboration between recruitment agents, community colleges, and universities in creating clear pathways and support structures for transfer students
